Trigger Warning: Death in the Family

My oldest 3 sons are children from my 1st husband, who is now deceased. My sons' cousin on their father's side passed away on Monday. He was only 21 years old and it was from a drug overdose. The services are tomorrow and they are having a wake and funeral with an open casket. My sons are 18, 15 (he has Down Syndrome, high functioning), and a month away from being 13. I went to my first funeral wish was an open casket when I was 12 (one of my friends was killed by a drunk driver).
