Bodhi Lochlyn was born at 37.6 weeks gestation, Friday, February 7, 2014, 9 pounds 3 ounces, 22 inches. My water broke at 550 am (first of my 4 pregnancies to do so). Admitted to hospital at 9am, 5 cm dilated, 75% effaced and -2....labored naturally until 6pm when I was complete and nothing happened when I pushed with a contraction. At 10pm, I was running a fever, my uterus was slowing down, and I had capit with my cervix (cervix started to swell). I had my 1st cesarean section on baby #4, and although it was my worst labor, it reminded me of why I love being a mom!
