HELP-Extremely clingy 1yo

He's my 3rd child and only boy as of now. My girls weren't really clingy. I'm super nervous about my hospital stay. He's never been away from me for more then maybe an hour tops. He's had a lot of medical problems so he's been a bit coddled! What do I do?!? He doesn't sleep in our bed but is in our room still for medical reasons. HELP!!!
