4 month sleep regression ???
OMG! I forgot what it was like with my other two kids (maybe it's like labor pains lol... Mother Nature makes sure you forget what it's like ?), but the 4 month sleep regression has hit my sweet little boy full force. The 4th leap starts in 2 days and is going to last 5 weeks. Have mercy! Enzo is soooo tired, sooo cranky but fights it so much when he's about to fall asleep. When he does sleep during the day it's only for like 5 or 10 min. Today's record was 20 min. ? He used to sleep from 10:00 pm until at least 4:30am, but now he wakes up at 1:30 and again around 3:30 or 4. When I nurse him during the day he is so distracted by everything (or nothing because most of the time we sit in his nursery and nothing should distract him but he keeps looking up and around) and after a while of latching and unlatching to look around he gets super fussy. He just needs to get some good sleep, a lot of it, but nothing is working. I feel so sad for him because he's so tired and I wish I could help him more. My poor baby boy. He will be 4 months on Tuesday (time flies ?). Anyone else dealing with the 4 month regression and/or 4th leap? ?

My little girl will do the same try laying down and feeding him. It works for my little girl her nursery is however in my room so it's easier plus my bed is on the ground so I can just leave her in the middle. Even if she was to fall off she would land on memory foam that we have laying on the floor under our bed.

He does ok at night after he eats and falls back asleep, he just wakes up more than he used to. It's mostly during the day that he has a hard time. He never takes long naps but the last few days it's been even less than before, so I definitely think it's the 4 month sleep regression. ? Poor baby, it breaks my hard to see him so upset and tired.

My son is 3.5 months and boy has it been hitting us hard! He fights his sleep while sleeping lol his eyes are closed and he's sleeping but is so restless the whole night and will only sleep in 45 minutes segments. Reminds me of my daughter she was the same way till 4.5 months which means we have another month to go ugghhhhh. Yesterday he even napped in 40 minutes segments ??

@divya, that's what my son does too. He tosses and turns in his sleep without waking up. Eyes closed and he turns his head from left to right and makes little sounds, very restless. I even made a video the other day to show my husband (it doesn't wake him up so he hasn't seen it yet). Sometimes white noise helps to calm him back down or breastfeeding and he likes to sleep in in the morning, so that's good and he can catch up on sleep that way, but during the day he fights it to no end.

OMG my husband can sleep through it all too lol. The other night he gave me a night off and in the morning goes I now know what you go through (since he had to get up to calm him lol) but yes poor babies I'm sure it's rough on them but the progress they are making is amazing! My son is cooing, talking and laughing more, grabbing his toys rolling around etc but yes sleep would be nice ??
