Bleeding again 6 weeks pp
I stopped bleeding about 4 weeks pp and only had light brown discharge, a pantyliner was usually enough. Im 6 weeks pp today and yesterday I started bleeding again. Not much, I'm still only using a pantyliner, but I'm wondering why I went from just light discharge to bleeding again. I'm breastfeeding so I doubt this is my period already, even though I have some slight cramping as well (on and off). I have my pp check up on Tuesday so I'll ask my midwife then, but maybe one of you ladies has experienced something similar? Hubby and i haven't had sex yet since I gave birth, so that can't be it. ?

My pp bleeding was like that.. i would have light bleeding then it would go away for a day or two & then it would just be brown spotting so on and so forth.. im 3wks pp and its been light brown spotting for a week now

Thanks mama ? I don't remember how it was for me with my other kids. I'll definitely check with my midwife though. Just to be sure.

With my daughter i only bled till 2wks pp and it stopped completely after that

I had that with my first the dr said or it comes from the birth control pill or its possible to have a regular period even if your nursing.
(I didn't get period upto a year after)

I bleed for 3wks and now at 6 wks postpartum I have my period. It's started brown for a day and into bright red. Wahhh I'm also breastfeeding.

Jmollinea, ugh I feel your pain girl! My midwife said it's probably my period, wonderful! I forgot to ask her though if I can use tampons, but if she cleared me for sex and said everything looks great, then I would assume I can lol. Let's see when the next one comes, i heard they can be quite irregular when breastfeeding. ?
