Hi ladies, I didn't want to post until I've been to the doctor but I'm caving lol. So here I am. My name is Sabrina and I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. My son is 14 and my daughter is 11 (both from a previous marriage, my new husband and I just got married 2 months ago). Anyways, both of my kids were born in Germany and prenatal care over there is amazing. Since its been a while and since this is my first pregnancy in the US I almost feel like this is my first time lol. My doctor said they'll see me between 8-10 weeks. Patience is not my strong suit and I'm a worry wart anyways. So now I wait. I'm 5+6 today.

Welcome and congrats!! My dr schedules the first appt at 8 weeks. But I've had bleeding so she had me come In to check levels and get an ultrasound. I'm sure you could request to get your levels checked! I will with every pregnancy now because my progesterone was at an all time low!

Thank you! ? I hope all was ok at your appointment and the bleeding stopped. I might try and call them and see if they'll check my levels before the actual appointment. If not I'll have to be patient for 2(ish) more weeks lol. I was this nervous too in my other two pregnancies, in between doctor appointments ?

Thanks! They started me on progesterone injections right away and the bleeding stopped right after that! So I hope we caught it in time!! And I was nervous between appts too!!

I am in the same boat you're in! This is my first pregnancy. My last period was July 6 so I would be 6 weeks 3 days or something. They didn't want me to come until the 1st of September. I made my appointment at the beginning of August so I also have to wait a month. less than 2 weeks to go though! I am just hoping this baby is healthy and has a strong heartbeat. I took a test at 4 weeks 6 days and it showed up RIGHT AWAY. darkest lines ever. so I am hoping that's a good sign. I took another test the other day just for fun and it showed up even faster than before :) I have had no bleeding whatsoever and I am seriously tired ALL THE TIME. Nausea has also hit me :(

MommaAlex, that all sounds very similar to my situation lol. I had the same thing with the tests (dark lines showing up really fast). Do twins run in your family? I'm asking because I've heard that dark lines on a test so early could mean twins (higher levels of hcg). I really don't think it's twins for me (I'm happy with one healthy, strong, growing baby!), although my great grandma had twins (one passed away after birth) and no one else in my family has had twins ever since.
My dr told me to call the end of August and they'll schedule me for the first week in September. ? I really hope everything is good with the baby. Like you, I'm tired and constantly yawning lol. I don't feel nauseous, but I didn't in my two other pregnancies either. So hopefully it stays that way. Although I kind of welcome every symptom just so I feel reassured. September can't come soon enough!
