End of 3rd Trimester Poops.

Is it true that at the end of your pregnancy that many women poop a lot and that it's a sign of your body clearing out for labor? I'm a FTM and am curious to know if this is true. I have been regular my entire pregnancy but last night I was up all night on the toilet :( I am currently 36 weeks ... Sorry about the poop post. I've gotta know!
