birthday and thanksgiving need ideas

I finally figured out the theme for my son's first birthday. I am doing a birthday Thanksgiving combo since he was born last year Thanksgiving his birthday the Saturday after Thanksgiving but family driving up 2 days in a week when we leave 1.5 hours away no including traffic doesn't work so I'm doing a football birthday Thanksgiving feast. The colors work perfect brown and green for the football theme are team is the niners so gold and red all combine make the perfect colors for both occasions. I've been doing alot on Pinterest but yet to find any ideas about the too being combined my decorations ideas so far is a football smash cake for the birthday boy and red and yellow napkins for the penalty flags. I'm still trying to figure it out so any ideas you lady's can shoot my way would be much appreciated!! I want it to still be nice decor considering thanksgiving but my son first birthday is very important too. So I wanna decor it for the best of both worlds! Food is just thanksgiving food so it's many decor I'm looking for opinions. I do have a few football themes appetizers I wanna do that will be cute.
