Im breastfeed and the other night i got extermaly hot with a fever and and chills was shiverying and moaning in pain from my boob well i took so ibuprofen took a hot shower thinking i was just engorged and so i tried to get out milk... Nothing came it was very hard to get out so. Baby go on a realived pressure. That morning i was in oain couldnt move my arm just awful pain. Made a quick trip to the doctor by then my boob was double in size and im a Ddd as it is. There was no question i had a infection in my breast it was bright red and swollen to none belief. Been on medication for 4 days now and its barley caliming down. Breastfeed is still okay but the pain has remand every single time i latch. For those ladies breastfeeding a baby bacteria can get into the nipple and caise infection also over working ur body leaving milk in breast or a tight bra will bring this infection. I didny think i would get a infection but its goos i know to better care my bra was to tight i had just bought it and i dont think my son was drinking all the milk my boobs held. Now hand pumping when he is finished just to make sure. Ughhh what a painful thing to go threw after having a baby lol.
