My 8 month refused to nurse tonight and it took over 2 hours to get her to sleep :( she wouldn't sick on anything and the screams coming from her were really worrying me... dh and I decoded to give her a little rice cereal to see if she was even hungry as well as some advil... didn't help. I pumped a bottle and she refused to take it. I finally got her to sleep with a nightlight that plays music and has a moving image on my son's bed (with the slide). I sure hope she will nurse tonight... or in the morning. And dh tells me (after an hr of me worrying beyond normal amount) that he took something out of her mouth and caught under her tongue. Maybe that just hurts to suck??? She would try to nurse, but when I pull out my boob she just screamed. :(
