Prodromal Labor anyone else ??

I'm due Tuesday and for 3 days I've been having intense labor pains in the evening and night, only for them to fade away by the morning. I lost my whole mucus plug Tuesday and have been have bloody mucus each day. They are different from BH because they still come after switching positions and they are intense but never get to "the point" where I can't breath. They will be anywhere from 6-11 mins apart. My Dr has been called twice over this and she claims its "early" labor and there is nothing she can do until they are consistent and intense. Anyone have gone through this or going through ?? I'm physically and mentally exhausted from contracting and anticipating "is it time".
