"Head in front of cervix ???"

"Head in front of cervix ???"

Had my 39 week apt today. Dr said I am 1 cm dilated, 60% effaced ( I've been since 36 weeks with no change) and baby is very very low and his head is "in a good position for labor to begin". I was confused by this. She said " babies head is actually in front of cervix" ( I figured he was always In front of my cervix because she has been feeling his head for weeks) anyone know what this means ??? she said " good sign things may begin soon" ugh. Drs shouldn't say things like that lol -- they told me that numerous times with my 1st and I was induced. !
