Bottle Feeding
So I've started TRYING to supplement and I'm having such a hard time. Idk if it's the formula, the bottle, or both. He pushes the nipple out his mouth with his tongue so of course the milk goes with it, or either he's gagging on the nipple. ?? I have been using the nam and dr brown bottles for when I'm away he does good with breast milk but not formula. HELP!!!
My son turns 1 this Sunday. I have introduced 2% milk as we do not buy whole milk and he was drinking formula still. Well now my boyfriend refuses to buy anymore formula for him now that he is 1. I plan on using whole milk with some vitamins. Do I feed him whole milk the way I would formula? He likes to go to sleep with a bottle and he likes a bottle in the morning. The rest of the day he does pretty good drinking it along with his food. I don’t want to over feed him but I also don’t want to underfeed him. Also how do you store milk in his diaper bag without it getting spoiled? I would have waited to get him off formula until he had his 1 year check up but unfortunately I have no choice but to stop him now (I’m a stay at home mom and have no money)
So my little boy is almost 11 months and i know how quickly time flys.. so.. Should he be off bottles complelty by one!? Should he have milk in a cup instead? Is it cows milk at 1? How much milk does he need at 1?
When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
Is it wrong that I want to give this little boy formula?? He is not my child but his mom can't/won't do what she needs to so she can produce more milk so I'm having to feed not only my child, but this little boy as well... I'm not able to pump enough for him and my daughter so I'm just doing this. I'm sick of it.
So ladies I just bought my son new bottles , & when he drinks it he spills most of the milk 🤔 ... is it that the nipple to big ? Or he used to his size of nipples ?
