He's here!!! Was admitted about 1030pm. Dr checked me at 11 and I was still 3cm so he went ahead and broke my water. Contractions got REAL at that point. I was checked again at 1:12am because I wanted something for pain. I was at 4 1/2cm and the nurse warned me that if I got the iv meds then that they wouldn't work as well later when I really needed them. Pain was unbearable and I was telling my mom I wanted an epi. By 1:49 I was gettin the urge to push. When she checked me I was indeed 10cm and 100%. I had to pant thru quite a few contractions waiting for the dr. I even pooped a little trying my hardest not to push. Dr came and I pushed a good 3 times and he was born at 2:02am. 7 lbs 8 oz. 20 inches my smallest baby ?? took a while to latch but he is nursing like a champ. No tears ??
