Pregnancy hormones! I can't tell who is over reacting

Last night, after a long day I am putting my 3 yr old to bed. It always takes longer than it it should. Half way through my husband and in-laws (who are visiting) all come up and say goodnight and go into their rooms. When DS is asleep I start to go into my room but notice lights on downstairs.
