Clomid with trigger

We are doing our first IUI this cycle. My question is- do you ovulate earlier when you do clomid with a trigger shot vs clomid by itself? I've done two cycles of clomid unmonitored with my OB before switching to the RE, and ovulated around day 17-20 on those. Just wondering if the combo can bump O date up. Thanks!
