I've been attempting to do it but haven't gotten into a routine. I'm 18 weeks and I didn't realize how much my body has changed already. Simple exercises aren't so simple anymore. My legs were so sore from the squats the next day and I didn't do nearly as many as I would do pre-pregnancy. I like to do videos from YouTube on my tv. They have a lot to choose from that are 30 mins or more. How's it going for you so far?
I haven't started yet. Lol. I'm 13wks. I just started reading the book Active Birth yesterday and it reinspired me. Haha.
One of the main reasons I want to do it is to be able to squat longer when I need to...muscle memory and all that. I have done squatting at the gym, but haven't done a lot lately since I've been soooo tired...but I have recently started feeling more like myself. (I did go on a 3 mile hike yesterday so I think that should count for something. Haha)
This is my favorite routine. I did it every week with my first and now I'm 10 weeks and doing it for this pregnancy. It helped my back pain in 3rd trimester.
@missusaj I'm going for a VBA2C so I really want to be physically prepared. It'll help my chances of being successful. I definitely understand being too tired I still have some of those days where I'm exhausted it's like baby had a growth spurt and I would definitely say that hike counts!
@katrue thanks for the link I'm going to try that one too
I know that labor can last longer than my ability to squat. Hahaha. I know I'm not going to be squatting the whole time, but I know if I want my body to work smoothly and efficiently, I have to do the prepatory work!!
