feel horrible
Today was just a messed up day. My son skipped his nap and my sister and her kids came over so when they finally left he was extremely tired but I had to feed the twins. And he wanted to cuddle with me and he didn't want me to feed the girls while he cuddled to go to sleep si he threw a big tantrum which I understand because he was tired and it was my fault for not giving him a nap. So I put the girls down because they were content. So I cuddled with him till he was almost asleep and had to put him down because one of the girls were crying. And that made him even worse. My husband is still at work. I knew my son was over tired and no matter what I did he was going to cry. I took him upstairs and left the girls sleeping downstairs. I was cuddling with him in my bed while he was still crying. I had to put him in his crib because the girls were crying again and he was still crying. I went and got one of the girls and asked if wanted to cuddle with us he said no and pushed me away.. So I left him in his crib and sat outside my room and cried because he was so upset and wanted to sleep but he couldn't because of how tired he was. He ended up falling asleep on his crib but he cried. I had no idea what to do because he cried with everything I was trying. I know it was my fault for letting him skip his nap. I just feel horrible for him crying and I couldn't help him.

Sorry! That sounds so stressful! Things come up sometimes, you did the best you could. I worry about days like this when number 2 comes in a week or so, three must be a huge challenge!

He woke up again and of course I was feeding the one girl that didn't eat the last time. So I took both girls upstairs to cuddle with him and was hoping he wouldn't be upset again. But he didn't want me at all but luckily my husband came home at that time and now they r cuddling so I could be with the girls. And I was crying to my husband because I felt so bad he cried and I couldn't help him.

The last couple days have not been good for me either. I've been very shouty and not playing enough. Trying to clean a two story house for company is a lot of work!
Today is a new day. I hope.

Sorry mama, I know this feeling all too well :(
It's hard when multiple kiddos need you at the same time.
My son fights sleep every night, I can hear him upstairs crying "mommy mommy" while my husband sits with him at bedtime when I'm downstairs nursing my colicky 4mo who screams if I'm not holding her. I just tell myself it's temporary, they will forgive us, we can only do the best we can.

Hugs!!! Just your voice and you trying to comfort him *is* enough. I sing lullabies to keep my sanity. Sometimes we just need to cry. It releases stress hormones in the tears. A loving presence telling you that you can do it and that you'll feel better soon (hang in there) makes hard times a little easier. Cry some more if *you* need to, get a shower and enjoy having your DH home :)

It's so hard when you're alone. We've all been there!

I think we've all had times where everyone in the house is crying at the same time. Sometimes it just has to happen. Hope you're feeling better now and I'm glad your husband was able to help when he got home. Hugs!
