LOL ed81 thats sooo funny! I call it "waving the fan fan" if I do it changing girls and "doodle draft" for the boys!!! 😔😔😔 hahahahahahaha soooo funny!!! Nappy (I use a nappy) wafting around the genitals is the generic term! Bahaahahahahah

This will sound weird but I would blow air onto his legs, tummy, penis etc the breeze would make him stop wriggling to figure out what was happening.

@ traceysboy that's exactly what my son does we have stopped using the change table because it was getting dangerous with him rolling!!!

@ cjgq I might try the nappy pants, I was a bit hesitant as they are quite expensive but now im thinking anything to make nappy changes shorter, he screams so loud sometimes that the sound in my ears goes all distorted lol

Have you tried nappy pants? My son (nearly 3 now) was similar, tried everything, used some nappy pants for a while, he got over it, and went back to nappies again. Have you maybe tried letting your lo help choose the nappies? Only suggesting this because mine loved the wiggles at this age so baby love were his favorite.

My LO went through that from around 8-10monthts it was long and painful he would constantly try to roll off the change table and scream murder when you turned him to change. He got over it and now doesn't mind most of the time!!! Hopefully it's a faze that will pass

Don't have any advice unfortunately because my almost 16mth old son is going thru that stage....again! He started doing it a few months ago and for about a month it was hell changing his nappy. One day he just stopped, thank god! But alas, he has started performing again :( Hopefully it's just a stage...

We struggled to change our LO's nappy from about 10m. She's almost 2 and it's been better for the past few months but she still plays up often.

Have you changed brand of nappies, brand of wipes you normally use? done anything differently, changed nappy creams? Try getting your little one's favourite Teddy out at change time and put a nappy on it. Talk to your little one about changing teddy's nappy and tell him how brave Teddy is to let you change his nappy. Then tell your little one that you are going to change his nappy just like Teddy. It's worth a try😕

Ignore ignore ignore. It's a tantrum. Any response is a win for them. Just change the bottom and walk away.

My daughters the same. Screams murder and wriggles around. So I just give her a tap on the leg just under the bum (not hard enough to hurt) but it scares her into staying still.the hole nappy change
