First appointments
So I have questions I have a three year old and I do not remember how the first appointment goes . Do we hear the heart beat? Get the first ultrasound? I’ll be seven weeks exactly tomorrow and my appointment is early anyone remember or know what happens

Every dr us different. Mine ALWAYS does ultrasound at first appointment for dating purposes, but does not try to hear heartbeat until at least second tri usually. He always finds it to see it tho! Every dr is different but that’s my docs normal :) good luck

My first appointment is always a consult and I get the paper work to go for blood work and an ultrasound

I have an ultrasound scheduled later today and I’m 5 weeks. They were concerned because of some pain I was feeling but I won’t see the actual doctor for about 3 more weeks.
