First research the different kinds. We have bumgenius flips which are a cover you just add the insert inside. We use pockets which you just stuff the inside in. Then we use All in ones which we don't do anything too just put them on her. We have a few other random brands too that we love but different kinds work for different families. You also need a diaper pail and a wet bag. For washing I would look up fluff love university. They also have a Facebook page fluff love science

I have been doing it for a good 3 months and loveeee we haven't had to go to the store to buy diapers. Plus all the prints are so cute, if put on right you will never have leaks, and we have saved a ton!

It depends on what type of cloth diaper you want to use, there is many kinds pocket, all in ones, all in twos, prefolds just for examples.

What you need is also depending on what type of diaper you want to use.

If you want to use prefolds for example you will need the prefolds, some form of snapie or pins to keep it closed and a water proof cover.

But if you use pockets you will only need the pocket diaper and the insert.

See how those diapers require almost completely different things?

So first you have to do research, I use pocket diapers. In my stash I currently have 25 diapers, 30 cloth wipes, and 27 inserts.

I wash every other day.

The thing I like about pocket diapers is you can change the amount of absobancy they have. By placing more or less inserts into the pocket.

Some things to also consider when cloth diapering is buying a diaper rash cream that won't mess up the fabrics of cloth diapers like gramma el's. Also buy detergent that is good for the cloth diapers and won't irritate your babies but like rockin green funk rock.

Also wet backs are great for storing dirty diapers and for the diaper bag.

Also when your baby eats solids the poop will need to be rinsed off before you wash, they have hoses that attach to your toilet that are really helpful.

The best advice I can give you is don't buy to many of one brand, because they might not work best for your child. Buy a couple and try them out first, before building your whole stash with only one type of diaper, and brand of diaper.

Check out fluff love university on Facebook or just their website. Also, don't get overwhelmed with all the choices. Try out different options until you find what works for you. Good luck!
