Are you still bleeding ? I found that the blood had a strange smell to it and no mater how much a showered and stayed clean it stuck around till I was no longer bleeding

Well I'm glad it's not unusual. My SO doesn't smell it but the smell is so strong to me. I am still bleeding, so hopefully it goes away soon.

Omg.... I have just been complaining about this! I keep walking around saying I smell bad lol. But I swear I am the only one that smells it. I have showered, changed my clothes multiple times a day, applied extra deodorant. Nothing works! It really bothers me, but I was assuming it was hormonal. I sweat alot more lately so I thought maybe that had something to do with it as well.

Omg I was literally going to research this. I feel like I stink too :( it's terrible. I shower daily, and have been using men's deoderant, and I still feel as if I smell. :( if I come across anything on my research I'll be happy to share. It's no fun walking around with a complex.

Remember where your placenta was, it is a wound that is healing. The lochia or bleeding causes the odor. Its normal. Give it time!

I have this problem too! It's like my blood smells weird...no matter how many showers I take...I smell it the worst when I'm peeing...but now that my bleeding is slowing down, it isn't as bad... Now I'm just having that old, dark blood...sorry, maybe that was tmi
