update on heart
Hello ladies. I asked for prayers the other day because I found out my lo has heart defects. I went to a specialist the other day and got an echocardiogram and he has serious av canal defects. I had an amnio test done today to make sure he doesn't have any severe chromosomal defects. I know he's going to need surgery soon after he's born so I'm trying to prepare for all of this. It's hard.

I'm sorry momma I know it's hard to take in. My daughter has truncus arteriosus and vsd and will need surgery to. Just be glad they caught it in time and study up on everything to be prepared. It made it easier on me to kind of know everything and look at it from that point of view so I want crying all the time. Just be strong

It def sucks not knowing exactly what is going to happen after they are born but I'm Def glad they caught it early because if they didn't she may not have made it. At least now they will have nicu team right in there with me when they do my csection.

That does make things feel a whole lot better. I'm glad I moved back to MD because I wouldn't have found out in NC. They didn't even give me an anatomy scan down there. But I know our babies will be just fine.

Crazy. My 10 year just found out she has a heart murmur today. Takes a good ear and good eye to find some defects. Same thing happened to my friend. One doc listening a lil longer saved her boys life.
