My daughter is 16 months and still not walking. We talked to her pediatrician they think she may just not be interested but that I need to come back if she's still not walking in about 4 weeks. She will take about 6 steps on her own and she will walk with her push toys. She even climbs on stuff But as soon as I try to hold her hands and Make her walk she throws a fit. Just wondering if anyone else still isn't walking or if it's just us??

You're not alone! My son is 16 months and will not take more than a few steps independently. He runs with push toys, strollers, etc. walks around furniture without any trouble, and will take just a few steps if we're holding his hands. We've been working with Early On because he has some deficits in other areas and he sees the physical therapist with EO on Monday. Part of me thinks he just doesn't want to do it and will on his own terms, but I'm glad they're checking things out.
My firstborn was full on walking and saying several words at just a year so it's hard not to compare them and it definitely drives me crazy that he's doing things later than I'd like.?

My 4th didn't walk until she was 20months! Don't sweat it :)

My second was 18 months before she walked on her own and if she's taking a few steps unassisted she'll be walking on her own any time! Don't worry too much every child develops differently.

Brentlee was close to 16 months old when he started fully walking alone ! My oldest was a late Walker too ;)
