Still not done?
Just delivered my 5th child 3wks ago (she was def supposed to be our last) but I have been so sad to think of never being pregnant again and never having another baby again that now I'm not sure if I am done. I felt done during the pregnancy but now I feel so different. I never get this emotional after delivery but when I look at my new baby I just cry thinking she's it for me. I love her to pieces and she is such a great baby i just wish I knew what this feeling meant? Maybe I'm not done? But is it safe to go on I have had 5 pregnancies and 5 vaginal births I'm scared to push my luck but still feel like I could do it again. Any advice? Does this feeling ever go away? Thanks

I think you know the answers to these questions ?. You thought you were done but your heart is telling you differently. All it means it that you should not do anything to permanently prevent pregnancy because you'll most likely regrets it.
Congrats on your newest joy

After I had my 5th I was done I didn't want to be pregnant again I thought 5 was enough. But I put off getting my tubes tied and when he turned 2 I decided ok 1 more. Told my hubby tubes are definitely getting tied after this one. Surprise we found out its twins! Guess God had other plans. But I know now I'm done. Lol. Good luck

I feel done at the end of pregnancy too. We all do. ?But I don't think I could ever decide and say "absolutely not. This system is closed." I just don't know what or who I would be missing out on if I decided I wasn't going to stay open to the possibility of more children.

It is so normal to feel done toward the end of pregnancy, which is a horrible time to make permanent decisions. Obviously your heart is telling you that you are not done.
Also, you've have 5 vaginal births, not 5 c-sections. You aren't pressing your luck. Vaginal birth is perfectly normal. Throughout history, women have given birth and have had large families...your risks aren't increasing because of vaginal births. It's all good.

This will be my 11th vaginal birth. Not so unusual. C sections would be different.
