Has anyone decided on the 5th child that they were not going bf? I bf my first 4 but the last one I had a very hard time keeping up because of the busy schedule with my older 3:( her weight needed to be monitored often but I managed to go almost 12 months. I'm just thinking I should try the formula route this time because I can't imagine in demand feeding with the schedules of the other 4 kids.

I am thinking to bottle feed , and this is my 5th. I don't want to bf because I eat more and gain weight. I need to lose all this weight I have gained. I know that may sound selfish, but I need my energy back so I can take care of my kids.

That's another factor I'm not at my best energy wise when I have extra weight and I def feel guilty when I don't eat enough when I'm bf, but sometimes there is no time for me to eat a full healthy meal with the demands of the other kids (which is why I prob struggle with supply last time around) makes me feel a little better knowing another large family mom is thinking this way also thank you:)

My 5th just turned 1. When I was first pregnant with her, I thought the same...too much, too hard with the others...and I NEEDED her to take a bottle so others could feed her and help . Fast forward...and I'm still nursing her and she doesn't take a bottle ?. I'm gearing up to wean her soon-hopefully. I know it's the best for her and I was able to do it. But it's your choice. Sometimes we have to choose our sanity. ❤
