5? Is anything different medically?
We are considering going for our 5th and final baby(even though 4 was supposed to be the last) we have 3 boys and our first daughter was born a yr ago. My question is to those ladies that delivered 5 or more was anything done differently during ur prenatal care or labor/delivery? I know we are considered grand multi para with 5 or more deliveries but I'd like to hear some experiences if u ladies don't mind sharing? Good and bad. Thanks:)

For me with my 5th born 9 weeks ago. There was nothing different really. I had some more prenatal care as I had placenta previa but that resolved and my delivery was fine as well. The biggest risk is bleeding at delivery. I think the extra care comes if you are considered AMA (advanced maternal age). Thats when the extra tests are run.

I will be 33 in October and that's a concern as well for me I really want to go for it but I have all these worries:( thanks so much for your response and congrats on your new ło!

In my clinic anything over 35 is considered AMA. You'll be fine. The day I went to my first OB appt with my lo I turned 34 also in October. Even now my OB who I just saw for my pp check up said see you soon for another one right? Lol. The concerns aren't really there until 40 years old.

I had #5 at 36 n I'm now 38 and due in Dec with #6 everything is going great!! I'm almost 22w! ;)

I'm 32 pregnant with baby #9, all Dr visits have been the same during all pregnancies.. My midwife jokes around with me telling me just to let them know when baby is born. But medically everything has been the same.
