What is an absolute NECESSITY to pack in to your hospital bag for baby-mom-dad ???? I know some stuff is given at the hospital but what is something you were glad you packed or wish you had packed... packing mine this week since im do to have my baby sooner than expected..

@yesicondaa, you definitely want a boppy if you plan on nursing! You will want to take it with you so your lactation consultant can teach you different holds with it.
@yesicondaa, girl I still use mine everytime I breastfeed my son they help so much before I got mine I used to have to stack a bunch of pillows and blankets and stuff under my arms it’s definitely a need for me!
Chapstick. Even if you don't usually use it, bring some. Hospitals are so dry.

@yesicondaa, There was a lot of paperwork to sign and a lot of documents to bring home. It was overwhelming.
@aengs2, what did you need the folder and pen for?
@yesicondaa, It is just a belly support belt! Like one you can use while pregnant 🤰 it supports your belly but you can use it for C-section! That’s all I used mine for.
@brittany_s, my sister told me those are so unnecessary so i didn’t even add that to my Registry 😩 ill be getting one now tho because so many people have recommended it!
I was happy to have my own towel and my own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I was also glad I brought a folder and a pen. We didn't really use anything that we brought for the baby though because the hospital had everything we needed. Also, black comfy sweat pants for me were a must for the ride home.
Baby: going home outfit and car seat. Hospital provides everything else. Baby book if you want foot prints in it.
Dad: clothes bathroom stuff and maybe a blanket and pillow. Hospital blankets suck. Snacks and extra drinks.
You: a couple pairs of comfy clothes (shorts and pj pants) tank tops. Bathroom stuff. Blanket and pillow. I brought slippers or slipper socks ( hospital has those if you don’t) cell phone charger camera and charger if you’re going to use that instead of your phone.

Going home outfits and shower stuff is literally all I used and if you plan on breastfeeding a boppy pillow is a must

A Pregnancy belt. I had a c-section so it was super handy because it held my cut.
