My boyfriend doesnt want me to work for at least two years after the baby is born. And he does have a great job that gets us through now but idk about when the baby is born. They are expensive. So for right now I'm keeping my job.

I quit my job 4 months back and planning to stay home for another 9 months until my baby is 4 or 5 months olds. But I will be back to work by next year. More burden on my husband but I was struggling very much with morning sickness and now with allergies that I am on nebuliser. But it was a blessing not worry about the deadlines at work along with all the sickness. May be working as a software engineer adds to my agony with tight deadlines to finish the coding.

Girl I feel you if I can stay home I would In a heartbeat..but I love money too much!! I grew up poor and don’t want that for my children and I feel guilty not being able to help SO!

@angel.simenthy I hear ya. As if being pregnant isn't hard enough, those deadlines don't help. They don't care how sick you are or if you're so fatigued you can't think, they still come. Deadlines is why I want to quit. I wish I could just put in my 8 hours and clock out with no worries everyday. But here I am on Sunday night worrying about what's due in the next few days 😖

@melissaredfield87 yes, same here. I don't want my daughter to go without anything...but I also don't want her to go without my presence for her very early years (aside from a couple hours of availability a day). My only problem with living poorly is that I can't tolerate the idea of not being able to afford the healthy foods and good medical care.

@jaquelinerachelle I am terrified of the expenses that will come up. I've been trying to squirrel away money for months. I couldn't fathom leaving my job and adding a $300/mo person to the family simultaneously. If you can, That's awesome!
