Sucks having no one out here for your baby shower 😢😭

Yeah I had like 5 people at mine not even my family showed up

My last shower was packed but since then, I don’t talk to most of them. Do you not have anyone at all?

@babymamaof4, we have no family out here , we just moved from California to Oklahoma . I haven’t made any friends out here and we have no family

@kealashof, I’m in the same situation here in San Antonio TX. I’m from Chile so all of my family and friends are abroad, my closest relatives live in Arizona. My husband’s from Louisiana and all his relatives are also in different states. So I didn’t organize anything, but some of my coworkers still did a little get together/surprise babyshower for me and that was super nice of them. I wish I had at least my mom and sisters with me though

@nlboldt, I’m a stay at home mom, my son is special needs and I have a 11 month old and pregnant and due in August . But I have no family out here , and I haven’t met any friends

@kealashof, I see :( it must be hard on you, wish you lived closer, I would have offered to meet for virgin drinks (non alcoholic) and cupcakes or something! Maybe you can organize something small just with your family so they can pamper you. As for baby gifts, we just created an amazon baby registry and sent it to all our loved ones

@kealashof, I’m sorry that’s got to be pretty rough but I’m sure you’ll meet some friends soon. It’s getting nicer out so maybe you can get out to a park and meet other moms

Oh I’m sorry I didn’t know. I imagine that would make it more difficult to get out and about. So what brought you to Oklahoma?
