They are revitalizing the malls near us. They began to die out and empty and then they just began a boost. Started putting movie theaters in, even grocery stores in them.

Not a fan of malls but yes there are always closings when ever I do go.

@laniejay, they JUST took the movie theater out of ours! Well just. As in the last 10 years 🤣😂🤣. Our mall contains our one and only target. But probably about 50% of the store spaces are empty now.

Let us all blame internet shopping 😹

I've read rumors about malls changing business model to "experience" based. With online marketing it's just kinda obsolete and hard to compete with.

The everett mall is always empty, it has several empty store spaces now..
