I didn't either time, and first time didn't go into labor they had to do C-section at 4 days late, and never had one contraction, except Braxton Hicks. and this last time, I was a day from my scheduled C-section, and didn't lose anything, and started having contractions so strong, I couldn't stop puking, and sweating... So they kept me until my C-section the next day to watch me, and monitor my sickness. It was rough. That's just my personal experiences though.
@shannonmallory93 the first time i had a c section as well and i lost bits an pieces early this time will also be a c section here in 12 days actually and i haven't seen anything
I never noticed losing mine with my twins and one morning I got up and my water broke, I’ve been losing mine off and on through this pregnancy though. So it’s very possible you can go into labor without noticing you lost it or you’re just not dilated enough yet.
@pay-lahnismommy things get real uncomfortable towards the end, but you're probably ok, unless your contractions get real strong, and start getting closer together, you shouldn't really worry too much honestly. Just take things easy as you can, and if you get real worried either call your doctor, or go to the hospital and get checked out.
@pay-lahnismommy, I personally have had labor start twice without losing my mucus plug or water break. It’s definitely possible! The other time I lost my mucus plug after having consistent contractions spaced out for 12 hours, then they eventually got down to 2 minutes apart.

With my second I didn't lose my mucus plug until right before I started pushing. My water broke and I was in labor 8 hours prior to losing it.
