I started on lovenox at 6 weeks and my doctor said that I will continue using it til 36 weeks but I'm like confused cause with my last pregnancy he kept me on it until I delivered
lovenox last 24 hours, heparin last 12 hours so you have to take it twice a day. so the heparin is easier to have out of your system if you go into labor where i think with the lovenox you cant have an epi or csection
nope, i was told everything else would be normal, i think ill go back to lovenox for a bit a few days after labor. why are you taking it? i had a previous blood clot a few years ago after my son so its just a precaution
Oh ok but I have been hospitalized four times for blood clots in my lungs. At first they thought it was my birth control but now they testing to see exactly where they keep coming from.
Me! Currently 11 weeks and started at 4 weeks. Some days are harder than others but I have had minimal to no bruising this way - I pinch the skin, inject at an angle, administer meds slowly then let the needle retract while still pinching skin. Ice pack in towel immediately after and lie down. I will be on it my entire pregnancy up til before induction date at 38 weeks. Then 6 weeks post partum.

i do, ive been on Lovenox since about 5 weeks and will be switching to Heparin this week(37weeks)

Oh wow I didn't know that but will it affect my chances of breastfeeding
