Just a heads up my DD had them removed last Christmas. The first day we were all surprised how well she was doing. Then came day 3 OMG. It was awful. I mean awful. Also if her ears that's normal. No one told us and my DD was screaming her ears hurt.

Glad she did well. Did they keep her overnight? My son just had a t and a and tubes put in last week. He was kept overnight and half of the next day. His oxygen kept dropping. He had a really hard time recovering. Did they give her any pain medicine for home?

No, she wasn't kept overnight and all they told me to do for pain was Tylenol and Motrin.

My son had tubes put in and that was much worse than this (so far) so maybe it was the combination of everything?

My son had his removed a year ago today. Best decision we made! And my son did so awesome. He was up playing around afterwards and we had an over night stay. Ibuprofen and tynoel alternating helped keep the pain away. He ate pancakes for like a week straight haha

Watch out for the bad breath! When my son had his adenoidectomy, his breath was stinky for days. The doctor warned us, but we weren't prepared for how foul it was! He got ear tubes in at the same time.
