Let's talk Blood Pressure
Sorry for the second post! I had a checkup today and my BP was elevated. I had pre-e with my third pregnancy so this is concerning, especially since I'm only 23w 4d. Baby is measuring ahead at 24 weeks so he is at "viability". They sent me home with an at-home monitor and want me to take my BP throughout the day and keep a journal. I'm also going to repeat my 24-hour urine and they want me back on Thursday.

I'm sorry ?
If it stays elevated they will likely put you on medication since your are so far from being due. If it comes down after resting you might need to be on bed rest. Not sure how to help as mine is allllll over the place and has been but I know the struggle.
Watch your sodium content and drink tons of water!

I am in the exact same boat except I'm 30 weeks. The best advice I have is to prop your feet up anytime you sit. I also have 2 toddlers so I understand

Thanks ladies! I'm already taking baby aspirin but she did say they may medicate me. I guess I'll just keep watching it and if it stops going down, I'll call. If not, I'll just show them my logs on Thursday.

It sounds like you be placed on bed rest soon. Pre E is such a b**** .

They put me on modified bed rest with my 3rd but it was much later in pregnancy, close to 35 weeks. I couldn't imagine being on bed rest for 16 weeks! But I'll suck it up and do whatever it takes for this precious baby. It just sucks, feeling like my body isn't doing what it should.
I eat healthy, I'm also going to try and get in some light pre-natal yoga to help.

I'm barely 12 weeks. Have had my BP read 3 times. 2/3 my BP has been "high." With my first I had Pre-E but not until 40 weeks (literally the day before my due date). I'm not sure what is going to happen at this point, I shall hopefully know at my next appointment.
