Nope, I stained it but it took a little darker in some places. It doesn't look as starkly different in real life as this picture makes it look. It just kind of flows together.

It's really easy, you can find all kinds of instructional videos with a simple google search. I've never done it maybe though ? only watched DH ?

They were really easy to make and cost me the price of a 2x10 - which was like $8 at lowes.

The brackets were some old ones I found in the basement of our rental before we moved. They were white so I spray painted them. I had the paint on-hand but even if you bought it, it's only $6. The stain I also had on hand but the tiny can is only $4.

$18 for strong, sturdy shelves that weigh a good 15lbs a piece.

They look fantastic but 3 of the L brackets are crooked ☺

They don't look crooked when I look at them in real life, but I'm sure they aren't exact. They are really old cast iron - so they are perfectly imperfect. ☺️
