I'm hoping it's something simple. I feel healthy! I refuse to accept it's something serious.

I did get bit by a tick on June 4th. There was no ring but I know Lyme can affect the kidneys. I'll be sure to bring it up when I go in for more labs on Wednesday.

My previous ob said the cut off is 300 and I was at 400 and they were not concerned since I had no other symptoms such as high bp. I have a history of pre e and PIH so I felt a little uneasy about it it. But whatever... I don't have md by my name, so... But I hope they get to the bottom of urs.

My aunt had this happen to her a couple years ago. Her levels were almost 1000. They did a million tests and sent her to a specialist. The specialist finally suggest she needed to drink lemon water (fresh and lots!) She did that for a week and her levels started dropping. She never fully explained to me why or how it happened, just said for some reason her body had a build up of protein. She just had a doctor's appointment last week and her levels are normal now. I hope this is just something simple, praying for you and your family.

Yes definitely bring that up that way they can test for tick borne illnesses. Hope everything is ok and keep us posted

Definitely bring up the tick bite. Ticks carry more than just Lyme, and the ring only shows up in less than 50% of cases. Praying for you, honey! I hope it's something simple and easily fixed.

All I drink is one cup of coffee in the morning and then water the rest of the day.

I will ask about the lemon water. I'd hate to skew the results in the event it is something more serious but if they can't find anything, I'll check that.

They've also referred me out to MFM again, which I was trying to avoid this pregnancy. Oh well, if it what's best for this sweet baby, I'm ok with it.

They said they tested it 6 times with 6 different specimens.
