Appointment EVERY WEEK!
No, I'm not that crazy - but my doctor is the sweetest. I was crying while driving to my appointment today because I was so nervous that there wouldn't be a heartbeat this time, 11w 4d. My doctor could tell I was concerned, nervous, and I think he could tell I had been crying - he told me I could stop in every week if I needed to for a quick Doppler check. He said "I'm not just saying this - I mean it! I've never gone through what you have personally but I completely empathize with what you're going through. I care about you and I want you to have peace of mind. I honestly don't care how often you stop in - just come in whenever you need to."

Yes, I'm so lucky to have found him! He's the only VBA2C doctor in my state and has been my OB for this pregnancy and my precious two - including my successful VBA2C!
Every time I see him, I just want the next 6 months to fly by and it be December already. ?

I work in an OB office, and we do this if anyone needs it. It's just not with the mental anguish a mother goes through, wondering if anything is wrong.

I looked into purchasing my own Doppler but I've read mixed reviews from a safety perspective. I'm not trained on how to properly use one and would hate to cause any harm.

This is really beautiful news! What an incredible support and amazing Doctor. Peace of mind can settle the heart and in turn will encourage a healthy pregnancy with less stress. You deserve this!!! Imo Having a Doppler isn't the same as having the direct opportunity to explore concerns. Plus it might be more healthy to set aside the time to go weekly then walk around caring for your family with a Doppler attached to you? I think you know what I mean..

That's awesome! My doctor did this for me too. I went in every week until I could feel regular movement. It really helped my peace of mind.
