I'd also like to add, I don't need any gifts or anything for Mother's Day, but he could have had the kids do something cute - make me a card, cut out a handprint, whatever. It's the little things that matter to me but he just doesn't get it. Gift giving has never been his strong suit and I've accepted that, it's just the complete lack of thought or concern for my feelings that bothers me.
