It's a 55-inch TV. It's pretty big, the picture definitely makes it look smaller.

No, it's not near the entry-way. To the left are the stairs leading upstairs and it's all open. The wall on the right has the fireplace. The wall opposite this wall has a big window and sliding glass door.

Your TV looks tiny in that huge space ? I think that space alone is bigger than my house ?

I'm just worried about spending money on an entertainment center and not being able to use it in the next house. I would really like to have built-ins in the new house.

Move the TV. It's much too small to use that as a focal point in a room. Move it somewhere else and buy cheap big canvases and paint some abstract art. Hang it high or a gradient going up. You want to the wall to appear high but don't want to cut it off by positioning your television at the bottom. That's my opinion.

Honestly I would ask the realtor to hook you up with a staging coach. Don't waste money on an ugly entertainment center.

Shelves on each side with some decor like pictures frames etc, At Hobby Lobby or Michaels they have this big wall decor that says "FAMILY" you can hang it on top of the tv. Check out Pinterest for ideas. I was having the same problem lol

I put a post up of what I did with my really large wall- they really are intimidating when you have such a huge canvas for such a important focal point

Honestly, i would not put any more holes in that wall. Maybe get some wall decals or something like that.

Def a bigger tv! Jk. A painting or artwork on the wall. Even something wrought iron.

That wall is amazing. If I had that, I would put tons of paintings up! Probably 3 all across of the same size, height and width? 2 big potted plants on the sides of the wall, by the TV. I love interior designing. OP, can you paint the wall?

The adjacent wall is a dark brown accent wall. This wall matches the rest of the room and the stairwell.

Hang shelves on either side with some plants.
