CO Springs! Can anyone tell me about it? What's it like living there? The pros and the cons?

I live in Aurora CO but have been to Colorado Springs multiple times. I personally think it's gorgeous. Perfect view of the mountains as it's very close to the mountains for does of us who love camping. They have an amazing mall, good restaurants, nice people & good schools. My hubby use to live their. You will be living in the good part of Colorado if you move their. All in all Colorado Springs is an amazing place to race a family.

We're big snowboarders so my husband has always wanted to live in CO! Do you know if there is traffic? If we lived just outside of CO springs, would we get a better house, but still be in a good area with good schools?

I need to get out of where we are currently living!

You would also be living close to some amazing sight seeing places. For example Cave of the Winds its a bit of a drive but still pretty close enough to go see. It's an amazing place the caves are gorgeous.

I heard marijuana is legal there..... And my fiancé old sideline w**** lives there.

That's all my knowledge of Colorado.

I lived in a few different places in Colorado, but always loved Colorado Springs. It's a nice size, not too big not too small. If you love the outdoors it's a great place for you! Congrats to your hubby on the job offer!

Colorado spring is so pretty. I don't live there but I've been there. If you like hiking/camping there's so.many great places. We're.taking about gong hiking.there this weekend.:)

Idk.exact distance for snowboarding depending what mountain you want to board at but breckenridge is about 2 hrs?

I live I'm Peyton CO but when we moved here about 3 months ago we lived in CO springs. It's pretty awesome. Lots to do and there is pretty much everything you need around you. It's a short drive pretty much anywhere. We love it here!

I love doing things outdoors! I love the mountains! We love snow and snowboarding, hiking, camping, you name it!

I need to get away from where we live now. I've been here my whole life and this place sucks you dry. No one enjoys life around here, it's all about the hustle and bustle, and I live in one of the most expensive places in America. The only thing that makes me reconsider is leaving my family. :-(

My sister is in Peyton! It's really nice there. Lots to do!
