Instant baby fever?? Did anyone else want another baby the moment they gave birth?

Me! With both my kids! Within a week I was ready for another one. Of course we waited until ds was about 1 before getting pregnant. Ds and dd are 2 yrs apart and I don't know how long we'll wait between dd and baby 3. Probably a year or 2

Haha! That's another reason why, my first two were c-sections and this one was a successful VBAC. It was the greatest moment of my life, I felt so wonderful about my birth experience... I really want to do it again! Haha!

I was talking about my second baby while I was pregnant with my first. No joke. I even went as far as buying my big items in neutral colors. Would love to be blessed with a third lo.

Yes for the first like 5 months I had major baby fever. Now I'm like ehhh I can wait lol

I would really like to have two super close in age. My oldest is 8, then we have a 2 year old DD (will be 3 in 2 weeks) and now an 8 day old. :-)

Been ttc since April now, ds turns 2 next week.

My first two are 20 months apart...probably why it took me 8 years to have my third and final child. So nooo...been there done that and want my hubs to get the snip. But more power to you if it's right for your family.

At my 6 week appointment after our ds was born he didn't want me to get bc because he wanted another right away lol. We waited to ttc when he was 9 months and didn't get pregnant with dd until he was 3. Now we are DONE.

My daughter is two weeks old and my So has not stopped talking about having another one since she came home!! I love how much he loves being a daddy.

I had such a great experience with my pregnancy and giving birth was the most special moment of my life. I can't wait to have another one but I want to wait like 2 years.

This morning I jokingly asked DH "hey, when Lexy dies (our dog), can we have another baby?" He flipped out and said no way. I started crying which I think caught him off guard. He said we agreed on 3 and that was it, gave me a hug and walked away. ?

Note: I'm not joking about the dog dying, she's 15, deaf, and has mammary tumors, so it's going to happen. She is my dog too and very protective of me. She HATES my DH so much, she doesn't even let him sit next to me on the couch. This morning he tried to sit next to me and she nipped at him and he said "God, I can't even sit next to my wife and baby!"

I did instantly! I thought my 2nd would be my last...Df was planning a vasectomy. I was really sad I'd never be pregnant feeling those kicks or experience birth again. Well 7 months later with df having a major vasectomy procrastination problem.....annnd deciding to say f*** the condom one night, I got pregnant again lol. Probably my happiest oops lol. I just wish they weren't so close in age, but it's still better than no baby at all! :) Due in a couple weeks and I'm hoping those same feelings don't come back. Oh and Df STILL hasn't got his vasectomy -__-

Yesss ever since I had my daughter I wanted another ASAP ! It took what seemed like forever , my daughter will be two in November and now I'm pregnant again wooh!??❤️

i say you are brave..and that you have a tremendous amount of love in your heart...which clearly you are dedicated to share... whatever you and your DH decide, i think its fair to say that the love you have will not go untreasured, unadored or extended to your family whatever size it shall be... hormonal after delivery... 8 days ago... ummm i can relate to being fludded with emotions of all kind... for months.. i think the crying for the reason you shared is very normal at this point...as it is something you had your mind set on...

I would love another child. DH didn't say no when I asked if he wanted to try for another son. Maybe pipe dreams, but maybe after the first of the year. Might be ttc between 1-1 to 2-28, then 4-1 to 6-30. Getting pregnant in march would give us another December baby. 2 birthdays and Xmas is too much lol. I would need to get pregnant before my birthday in hopes of having a boy lol. (Chinese gender prediction lol)

I have three older brothers, I just lived growing up with a lot of siblings... And love it even more now that we all have kids.

Lol no !! I hate being pregnant, okay well the symptoms! And no drinking ect...I'm such a party pooper now..sobriety sucks! Maybe if we only carried for 9weeks lol!

9 weeks!!!!! I couldn't imagine the rapid growth in 9 weeks!!!! LOL

It took me after the newborn stage.

Right after dd was born at the hospital I was crying and said I don't ever want to do this again. (I hadn't seen dd yet).

Then by the time she was just turning 3 months and sleeping through the night I was like I want another... Now. Lol

And here I am a month away from my repeat csection with ds.

I'm in the same boat as @daisy. I'm 29 weeks, my DD is turning two next week and I am already asking SO when he'll want to try for a 3rd. I'm lucky though, SO and I discussed before beginning to have children that we BOTH wanted a large family and have decided we will have as many kids as we are meant to unless we just can't financially afford it. SOOOO that being said, I'm hoping for 4 to 6. I came from a large family and he didn't so together we both want a lot of children. We love our babies and I couldn't imagine stopping now.

I pretty much did. Managed to keep it under control until I had my wisdom teeth taken out about 9 months later. As I woke up from it my sh was there and the first thing I said was I want another baby. Lol
