I've had my Motorola one for over 2 years and it's still going strong. It's also survived several plane trips. Just bought a second camera for it on eBay.
Don't get one that connects to wifi. People can hack into your camera. They can move the canera around, watch you and your child and even talk to your child.

Edit: I'm sorry it does use wifi, id I why I didn't think it did! Well it jumps channels I guess or something. Anyways you have to physically move the camera so people won't be able to hack it and move the camera. I haven't had a problem with it at all.
I have the infant optics one and it is great except it completely hogs our WiFi. I can't use my phone online or watch Netflix while it is on. We just bought an IP camera, the kind that can be hacked (Foscam). But you can make the settings so they can't be hacked. The people that got hacked just didn't set it up correctly. With it you use your phone, tablet, or monitor to watch baby.
