what would u say ?

Ladies quick question. Me and the hubby are kid free for the weekend and I posted on fb asking for suggestions of things we could do together for the weekend since I'm going to be animal sitting at my parents from Monday to the next Tuesday so a week. We'll I had decided that we could ride up to Helen and play putt putt and walk a nature trail and check out the stores and eat lunch. I know not the funnest thing but I'm also 30 weeks pregnant well his friend had the nerve to comment and say the gulches (a off road park) knowing I'm not able to do that. Well my husband comments and says that's this Saturday and the friends said yes so now my husband has completely blew me off to go do that and says we can have us time sunday. Well no we can't our son will be home Sunday and I guess I'm just a bad mom but I wanted some special time for just us without the kiddos bc once baby comes alone time is over...

I would just talk to him and let him know that you were really looking forward to having "us" time on Saturday and remind him that Sunday your son will be back so you won't be able to have alone time that day. I'm sure he probably wasn't deliberately trying to blow you off. He probably just doesn't know how important that "us" time was for you, and also probably wasn't fully thinking it through about your son coming home Sunday.

I'd be mad, he sounds very insensitive, I'd sit him down and talk this through, I'd let him read this post, that way he'll see just how this is hurting you.

if not then write him a letter, let him read it without you there, such as handing it to him and going for a walk etc...

When you come back sit down and have an honest talk, don't hide or hold back what you feel.

Let us know how it goes,

Good luck op.

Ps if it doesn't work I'd put my foot down on him not going, our relationship is more important then off roading

Maybe you shouldn't post on FB personal stuff like this.

Talk to your Husband about what you want & where you could go, together instead of the Internet. That just opened up the door for other people's opinions (his friends & yours) & that clearly got you no where.

Talk to him about doing something together Saturday, remind him your son will be home Sunday & that this is important to you. This is after all, his baby too. He should know how things will change after baby.

We just moved to this area and a select few friends are from here is why I did. Bc we still don't know where anything is really at.

That's what Google is for love. That's my go to when idk what's around.

We just bought a house in another town, we just go to the map app (if you have that) & put food, read the reviews & pick one together.

Talk to your husband, tell him this means a lot to you because you want to enjoy some alone time & this is your opportunity to do so.

Just tell him you really want that weekend to be just you and him before the next baby comes. Ask him if he can see that from your point of view and ask if he understands why you want that weekend with just you too. But marriage is compromise, maybe work out a half and half like if he does do that with his friends you get a pedicure at that time or something you want
