NOT baby related. but need advice
Ladies I need some advice. If ur husband came to u and told u that when you and him were split up 2 years ago that he slept with multiple girls he can't say how many though he says he was mentally confused and in pain from not seeing our now 2 year old so that says there a bunch of girls. But when we got back together 2 Years ago I specifically asked him if he did bc I had proof fom others he had and he denied it and said no. What would u do ?.. and yes we were on a break but would u forgive him for lying about it and saying he didn't sleep with anyone....

It sounds like two things happened with him. He a) rebounded with these women, was not over you. And b) he lied to you about it because he didn't want to lose you again.
You were on a break so that isn't cheating, no matter how crap it makes you feel. However, it's up to you how you want to proceed. If he's been good to you since then maybe it can be ironed out with counselling. It might be a deal breaker for another woman though, but again you need to evaluate this and decide if it's something you can move on from.

No offense, but if you had proof back then that it happened when you took him back, then didn't at least part of you know he was lying to you at the time?
Also sounds like you were not together at the time, meaning he was free to sleep with whoever he wanted.
If you accepted him back then I don't see what would have changed that now.
If he is just now telling you about it then I would give him credit for telling you after the fact when he didn't have to. It probably means he wants to be honest with you and cares about you.

No I knew he was lying but like I said we weren't together I'm not really asking do I leave him more just what do I do to forgive him bc right now I can't even look at him

Forgiveness won't happen overnight. It's obviously hurt you and you need time to process it. Explore your feelings and grieve but resolve to yourself that you won't dwell and you will move on.

I say learn to let it go. Reliving it does what?? If you are staying with him regardless and believe he has been faithful ever since, let it go. For some reason he wanted to come clean, don't make him regret it unless you plan on ending the relationship. It's on you that you knew he lied and continued on. The time to have confronted him was when you KNEW he lied. Now that the truth is out, you have to let it go or it will end your relationship from bitterness, mistrust, and jealousy. If fighting about it was going to change anything today, it would have already, but your gut told you he was lying and you continued on in an effort to make it work. Vent here and stop punishing each other from here on out ❤❤❤
My husband and I have been together for 14 years and he has never once ever spoke of his sex life before me no matter how I begged to know, asked, tried to figure it out...he always kept his foot down and said "the past is the past for a reason, I am with you now" and ya know what, I appreciate him for that. I have never questioned his faith to me bc there were never even the slightest seeds planted. Even inadvertently. ?

Did this just come up out of the blue because he discovered that he's had an STD since then?

When ur on a break ur on a break. You can't blame the other person from doing something when ur not together as long as he's loving you and only you while ur together let it go

As far as I know he has no std. I get tested very frequently bc I don't have a choice as I have a severe heart condition that if I caught something and didn't know it it could kill me. I'm not considering leaving him at this point. It was 2 years ago we weren't together at the time but I'm really wondering is it OK to ask questions like if condoms were used if there's potentially any other kids out there stuff like that. Or do I just completely let it go

I would say let it go but I know from personal experience that is easier said then done. My ex did the same thing to me but he only told me because the one girl got pregnant. I definitely "let it go" but I never forgave him for lying to me and ultimately could never trust him again. We ended up divorcing and people tell me all the time I was stupid for not forgiving him and trusting him but that's just the type of person I am. My advice is if you forgive him make sure you can forgive him wholeheartedly! I think You have to trust that if absolutely need to know something about the situation like STDs or kids he would tell you.

Completely let it go. If he had an STD you would know by now. Children.... well, if he doesn't know...he won't be able to say. If you want to stay together let the whatifs go ❤

Yup I would forgive him. Even if he wasn't straight with you when you got back together. He came clean now. And you guys were broken up. No use living in the past

Reading stuff like this makes me so happy I am married to a super great guy. We've been married for 6 years and have been together since 2009 when we were 24. I was his 4th girlfriend he had been with. I was way worse than he was ?
As far as your situation, I agree. If he's been good to you since then, forgive and forget. Who knows why he suddenly decided to tell you he lied. But when you're split up, there are no rules of what you can or can't do! He made a choice to live the single life in the time period. If life is good with him now, best advice is to let it go as quickly as possible before it drives a huge wedge in your relationship.
