Ex drama!
Well my 2 year old sons father decided to text me yesterday saying he wants to take me back to the attorney generals office to change his visitations. He's suppose to see my son every 1st, 3rd, 5th weekend of the month but he can't because of work so I agreed I would work with his schedule BUT my son can't spend the night with him. I won't allow it. My son doesn't know my ex at all and he still wakes up at night looking for me. I told me ex he could have my son all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Well... He doesn't do that. It's excuse after excuse why he doesn't see my son and his main excuse is because I won't let him spend the night. Makes no sense. If he's so busy to pick him up, why is it ok for my son to spend the night. Anyways! He hasn't seen my son since Christmas and hasn't even asked how he's doing until 4 weeks later. He then decides he wants to see him but never shows up! So another month goes by and he's pulling this crap. This weekend was suppose to be "his weekend" but he didn't bother to ask if he could see him. He just went straight into he's taking me to the attorney generals and if we can't agree on his terms, we are going to court. I find it funny how he all of a sudden came into my son's life when he found out I was engaged when my son was already 14 months old and now he's doing this when he found out I was pregnant. He was actually mad when he found out I was pregnant. He even admitted to me yesterday he knows I'm a good mother so why does he not trust me when I say it's not good for my son to spend the night?! Plus, my son comes back smelling sooooo bad like cigarettes everytime he would see him. Anybody else go through this with a child so young? He left when I was 16 weeks pregnant and he never met my son until he was 14 months old. My son doesn't even like him. My ex has to use his twin boys (ages 5) to convince my son to go with him. It's just so wrong!

My ex husband decided last summer, after not seeing my son for 2 years with zero contact, that he wanted visitation. We are divorced due to him being an abusive alcoholic and he also does drugs some. I don't trust him what so ever and my poor husband has to supervise the visitation each week. It's terrible and my son asks us each week if he can stop seeing him. It breaks my heart but sadly all that can be done is wait for him to mess up. I understand how frustrating and upsetting it all is though

Poor baby! These poor kids are the ones who suffer. On Christmas, my son ran to my husband and was just like "hug me dada" and was holding onto him for dear life. He didn't want to be with my ex. Makes me mad how these guys want to be a parent only when it's convenient to them.

It's really not fair. If the child doesn't want to go he shouldn't have to. I could never allow my child to sleep out. Maybe it's best he has the court advise him he can't follow a steady path so can't get him over night either.

Let him take you back to court. I tell my ex that every time he threatens, still haven't seen a judge. It's all talk.
My ex told me I better find someone to bring her to the meeting spot when I have the baby because he's not driving all the way down here. I told him to take me to court. He moved two states away and I have doctors orders to not drive.
They are full of hot air. Even if he does take you back to court he will look like an ass for not taking his son.
So tired of men acting like ass hats when it comes to their children

Thanks for the link Anna. I'll look into that. And more than likely he is all talk. He's said this before and nothing happens. But I've got to prepare myself for the worst. I'm sure he was just lonely on Valentine's Day and had to figure out a way to ruin my day. He didn't even ask how my son was doing or if he can spend time with him. He went straight for fighting. So dumb. I never told him he couldn't see him. I just said no over nights. But he wants it his way or no way.

He's allowed those weekends but it's you or the court saying no overnights?

It's me saying no. We had a verbal agreement that my son wouldn't spend the night until he actually spent more time with my son. I never told him he couldn't see him. I even told him that if he was off during the week, I would let him see my son. He just doesn't

I kinda hope we do go to court so maybe they can say no overnights.
