I just started using OPK today. I have a 26 day cycle and I'm on cycle day 12. according to my calendar I'm still fertile and suppose to O tomorrow but when I took the test, it came back negative . I bought the digital one so it was easier for me to read. Has this happened to anyone??? Is it possible I already ovulated or am I just going to ovulate late? I'm so confused ! I thought for sure it was going to say High Fertilty

It could go both ways, that's why most test say start testing on cycle day 10, hopefully you'll ovulate later than expected! Hope this helps!

I hope I ovulate later! I just swore I would never use OPK then found myself at the store buying them yesterday lol

Lmbo I said the same thing and I'm so excited to start them this month lol I'm on cycle day 7 and I'm starting tomorrow testing! No cm yet so hopefully I won't be out of luck waiting until then

That's frustrating. Do you have the ewcm yet? Hopefully you'll ovulate when hubby gets home!!!

Digitals always come back negative on first use especially if you only tested today...i would try again later on this afternoon or this evening...gl xx

I had what looked like EWCM yesterday and I heard about the digital OPK that once you hit peak to stop because it'll say your high fertility even after you ovulated and it's not true. Didn't know about testing the first time it would say ur not fertile. Wow thanks for the advice ladies ?

What digital opk are you using? I use the clearblue advanced and once you get a peak it stays on the screen for 2 days and you cant retest until next cycle because it resets itself x

I am confused by opk as well. I was low yesterday. Then peak today... So since it is clearblue can't test again until next cycle.
Fingers crossed it is right and I don't need to test next cycle (and I catch the egg :) )

I'm using the clearblue advance and right now I tested and the smiley face is blinking ? I'm glad I haven't peaked yet so it gives my husband enough time to come home and BD with me. I'm testing again tomorrow morning . I'm just wondering.... If I were to peak tomorrow, how long does my peak last?
