That would be eczema. Try getting some Fragrance free baby lotion. I like the aveeno one with oatmeal. Apply after bath time as whenever else you have a chance. This should help a lot. It may even get rid of it. It helps my daughter buuuuuuuut nothing will completely get rid of it except for steroid cream. This look mild so I'm sure just moisturizer should work.
The pedi always recommender dove bar soap , it works for my son just make aure you pat his skin dry. And also , baby aveeno lottion helps too after a nice lukewarm bath.
I would. My child is sensitive to fragrance but if you've been using the same soap this whole time, without problem, then it may be fine to keep using it. See what happens after using a moisturizer for a few days.
Switch to fragrance free soap, lotion, and laundry detergent, basically anything that comes in contact with his skin. Put an unscented lotion on it 2-3 times a day, and on the rest of his body because it doesn't always stay in one place. It'll get better as he gets older. If putting lotion on multiple times a day doesn't help you'll need to get a prescription cream

Looks like ringworm imo. Ds just had it and it looked like that, then started becoming a clearer ring. Better have it checked so you can begin treatment asap if it is.

I use the tide detergent that is comparable to dreft. Is that good detergent ?
