I'm pretty sure the numbers show how many bombs are touching that square. So like 1 means it has 1 square touching it with a bomb.

I'd just set it to the biggest area with the least amount of bombs ?

This is the game you played when you were bored or simply passing time but end up really liking it. Thought I was pretty good at it til I clicked the wrong square...

My dad taught me how to play. I love playing but still haven't won! Lol

I'm not sure I would consider this math. The numbers show you how many bombs are in the boxes surrounding the number. If the box says 2 and you already see 2 bombs in its surrounding boxes, then you know all the other boxes surrounding it are clear...you do this for all the numbers you see and put flags on all the boxes you think are bombs...

I would consider this math, it's focusing on the logical reasoning and spatial awareness as problem solving strategies. Fun game!
