Any suggestions?
I have a 3 year old daughter who has been acting different lately. She is always with me and so I'm not sure what triggered her behavior. She hasn't been listening very well and random things will make her cry. Example: she cried at the end of a Sofia the first episode today cause Sofia's friend didn't win first place in something. Even if she has done something wrong and all I do is sit down to talk to her she starts crying. When I ask why she is crying cause she isn't in trouble she says she doesn't know. I don't know what to do to help her threw whatever this may be that she is going threw. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Any chance should could have been hurt by someone. Never to young to talk about there safety and that they can tell you if anyone is hurting them or doing something they don't like....

No chance of that. She is literally with me all the time. I do not work. We spend every waking minute with each other.

Sometimes even if its nothing its good to take them to a councilor or a professional just to b safe and it never hurts because thers somthings tht they as professionals can deal with better than us as mothers as hard as tht is to admit no mom wnts to b in a position wer they r helpless to help ther child but keep in mind ur helping by getting her help it could b simple growth in understanding and perception goodluck hope the angel gets better

I really just think this is a normal part of development. I remember when my oldest son was around that age. We were watching a cartoon. In the cartoon, a kitten had been washed out to sea and the animals were supposed to try to save her. My son just completely lost it. He started crying and freaking. I asked him why he was crying and he just kept saying, "the kitty was washed out to sea". I think this is the age that children develop their empathy towards other people and it's how they start to deal with their emotions. I think it's a normal part of development at this age. Especially if she's saying nothing is wrong and you don't think there was any chance of abuse, I'd say just let it go and keep an eye on her. This stage shouldn't last that long, though it's a good time to introduce her to the idea of helping others. For example, you could tell her there are children who don't have as many toys as she does and have her go through her toys to donate. And let her know that there is nothing wrong with crying when she feels sad. Even adults cry. She just needs help to develop a healthy outlet for her feelings and you can help her with that. My oldest son is very empathetic and I think part of it was because i encouraged him to deal with his feelings at that age.

It could just be a phase. Some kids that age are working through how they feel about things. I would take her to a dr even if she is always with you. It is still a sign of child abuse sexually.
